For this window display, the class had a set of themes that we were able to choose from. One of these themes was “Urban Legends” therefore I decided to pick Bloody Mary knowing it would be a creepy idea. As we cleaned the classroom around to search for potential supplies, we found a plastic sink that gave me the inspiration for this window. But instead of doing the traditional bathroom scene, I decided to switch things up. I went with a victorian bedroom scene that I felt was a bit scarier than a bathroom. The main focus of this window was the vanity that reveals Bloody Mary. The candles are details that also form the look of this window as they are needed in order to be the “call” for this demon. Having a setting from the past was something important to me as these legends have been around for years so why not show it through a window. Just an idea!
